This AddOn provides a Special DODSPersistentManager extension that reads XPDL's extended attributes in order to determine if Process instances or variables should be persisted into the Database and / or should be deleted when the Process is finished. This AddOn is normally used in combination with the corresponding AddOn For the Event audit persistence manager. It determines if a Process instance or Process variable will be TRANSIENT. If a Process instance or a Process variable is TRANSIENT, their data won't be written into the instance persistence Database. For Process instances this is useful when then Process is e.g. completely Automatic or you do not care about Process instance data. Making Process instances TRANSIENT improves overall performance. For Process variables it is useful when the variable values just matter inside one transaction.
